This summer an amazing group of girls in Ohio started their own book club. Their first summer read was The Wish Stealers! We did a conference call for twenty minutes about the book. I was thrilled to answer their thoughtful and detailed questions. Like any great book club, wonderful food was served! Check out their “wish cupcakes” made especially for this mother-daughter event. We had an interesting discussion about the power of endings in stories. I loved what the girls and their moms shared about the ending in The Wish Stealers–I thought about their words for many days afterward.
